The Galizien German Descendants researcher has extracted the following records on the village of Ranischau (known as Raniżów in Polish) from the archives of old Galicia. Many of the later records of our Galizien German Descendants are not available through the FHL and these are our target records for photographing (done in 2015). These transcriptions are available for members only access and additionally we remind members that this information is supplied for private personal use only. Any other use could cause this project to end.

Note that the transcriptions below were an earlier effort, from before the Krakow Archives allowed photographing the records, but now (2016) the transcribed records are complemented with images of the church records, thanks to the Hilfskomitee.  The earlier transcriptions can be used to quickly look up names and dates and then the images will show the actual church record entry.
